Winter training sessions for U11 and U9 will run at Hampshire Collegiate School. The sessions have been extended to 75 mins this year as the 60 mins session last year were too much of a rush. They will be bi weekly and will each have 10 sessions, 5 before Xmas and 5 after.
Winter training, whilst keeping the emphasis on fun, is when we have chance to develop technical skills for batting, bowling and fielding without games getting in the way. Each session will be about 20 players with 3 or 4 coaches so we can work in small groups.
Steve Warner (Level 2, Wiltshire & South Wilts) will continue to lead the coaching team, supported by Martin Ball, Lee Palmer, Charlie King and Liam Poolman.
Sports Hall at Hampshire Collegiate School on the A27. Follow the school drive all the way to the Senior School building. Then park and follow the signs through the buildings to the sports hall.
Wednesdays from 5:45pm to 7:00pm
£50 for 10 sessions. Cheques payable to Wellow and Plaitford CC please. In cases of genuine financial hardship please talk to the team manager or club officials.
