Welcome to Wellow and Plaitford Cricket Club.

 

We are a friendly and welcoming club based in the village of Wellow, near Romsey and open to all sections of the community.

 

The club supports the following teams at senior level:

 

Hampshire League Saturday Teams

 

The 1^st XI Play in Country Division 3

The 2^nd XI Play in Regional Division 2 North West

 

 

We have a thriving Colts section which includes Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 squads which are trained by qualified coaches and managed by dedicated volunteers. Our Colts train once a week throughout the year, using a local school’s sports facilities during the winter. From Easter, training takes place at the Recreation Ground (Lower Common Road) in Wellow

Monday evenings for U15s and U13s.
Wednesday evenings for U11s, and U9s

Colts play in the NFJCA www.newforestcricket.co.uk

 

The club has achieved Clubmark status by demonstrating that best practices are in place to develop and deliver high quality community cricket for everyone. We particularly wish to encourage participation in junior cricket and our policies and pricing structure reflect this. Membership fees can be found Here
