ADULT CRICKET
MENS CRICKET
Following a successful season in 2017 where the 1st team won the league, unbeaten, the team were promoted into Regional Division 1 North West. 2018 saw a 7th place finish in the league of 18 teams despite some issues with weather.
2019 is here and we will also be competing in The Border League. All the matches are played throughout the summer on a Tuesday evening between clubs who are based within a 10 mile radius of Romsey, Hampshire. The league consists of three divisions; plus two annual knockout competitions: the Cup and the Plate.
We are always looking for new members so if you are interested in playing, please contact us!
LADIES CRICKET
In 2019 we started to run fun and informal softball cricket sessions for ladies and secondary school aged girls. These proved very popular and the ladies played several friendly matches in the summer of 2019 and 2020. We hope to arrange further friendly fixtures in 2021 including a W10 softball festival at Wellow. If you are interested in playing softball cricket please do get in touch - no experience necessary.
To find out more about the next ladies cricket training session, please contact us.
JUNIOR CRICKET
We have a thriving colts section with multiple teams for boys and girls aged from 5 to 14 years of age. We meet for training on a Wednesday evening at the Wellow Recreation Ground and our teams play matches in the NJFCA North Leagues.
Our fully qualified coaches provide structured and organised coaching which provides the boys and girls with the tools to progress their cricketing knowledge and skills in a fun, safe and progressive environment. We welcome young cricketers of all abilities and whilst every effort is made to ensure that all colts get as many matches as possible, selection for matches is determined on attendance, ability and performance at coaching and training session.
